09.10.2017 RECONNECT 6TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION + WEBSITE UNVEILING
You are invited to a family friendly all ages DANCE PARTY that is celebrating our pride and joy – Reconnect with your Body.

We are celebrating the 6th Birthday of our Reconnect program with a community class, mini performance and party and we would love if you and your families would come dance with us. The icing on the cake is that we will be unveiling the brand new Art as Action website at the party – a labor of love we have been working on all summer that really reflects the rich history of the organization as well as the bright bright present and future!

If you have been feeling at all hopeless about the world lately, spending an afternoon shaking your booty with the Reconnect dancers is the antidote. Friends and family members with and without PD are welcome.

our mission

Art as Action brings people together at the intersection of dance, (dis)ability and creative potential.

19 years of Artivism

Art as Action was founded in 2002 to be a collaborative collective of Artivists— which we define as champions and ambassadors of the communal, universal, and healing language of art. Artivism emboldens the distinct, rare creativity deep within each individual.

OUR MISSION: Art as Action brings people together at the intersection of dance, (dis)ability and creative potential.
