reconnect at PD support groups

bringing the magic of dance into the Parkinson’s community throughout Colorado

In January we danced with Parkinson’s Support Groups near (Westminster and Broomfield) and far (Loveland and Lone Tree).

A part of our Reconnect Outreach program, AaA Artistic Director/Reconnect Teacher Sarah Leversee presents about the joys and benefits of dance for Parkinson’s and leads a mini-class, giving people the opportunity to experience Reconnect firsthand.

Greeley and Louisville are next on the calendar, with many more 2018 dates in-progress.

“We enjoyed your program so much. Several people commented on the way out that yours was one of the best programs we’ve had.”  -Broomfield Parkinson’s Support Group leader

dance: found performance

Sunday, March 11, 1:00 & 6:30pm at Colorado Conservatory of Dance (CCD), Broomfield

See two brand new Artivist dance pieces at our home base, CCD! Dance: Found is the annual performance for the adult program at CCD and features a showcase of dance created by the talented CCD faculty. The Reconnect dancers raised the roof to “S.O.B” at this event two years ago and Sarah danced a solo last year.  For 2018, CCD asked us to do both – the Reconnect Performing Company will debut a new piece to “Leave the Light On” and Sarah will have a solo so new it doesn’t even have a song yet.
