Artivist Process Workshop

Have you ever been to an Art as Action show and thought: “I wonder if I could do that?” YOU CAN.
 
Is there a story within you that feels invisible? Are you curious about expressing that story through dance, spoken word and/or music? What would it feel like for that part of you to be seen? What would happen if by making it visible you could open someone’s eyes or make someone feel less alone?
 
The theme/title of the next Art as Action show is (in)VISIBLE and our path to the show, the Artivist Process, is just getting under way.
 
Join us Sunday for opportunities to create, connect and get curious about your own creative potential:
  • Learn about the Artivist Process and the Feedback Toolkit we will use throughout the season
  • Explore the show theme and possible piece ideas through group brainstorming and creative break out sessions
  • Connect with fellow Artivists/possible collaborators
  • Review the Piece Submission Process
This workshop is a one time fee of $35. If you continue with the Artivist Process/Performance, that will be applied to the $35 Artivist Participation fee. (in other words, if you attend the workshop, your participation fee is covered! also if you attended last week’s workshop, you owe $0 for this week and the rest of the season!)
